YAZ Birth Control Drug Can Cause Blood Clots

The combination birth control pill, YAZ, as well as Yasmin and Ocella, have shown an increase the risk of blood clots.  Blood clots are very dangerous, and pose the most risk if they reach the brain, heart, or lungs.

YAZ use could result in very serious side effects which may cause severe damage or even death. To minimize the risk of Yaz birth control blood clots, women should not smoke while taking Yaz. Women using Yaz should also be familiar with the signs and symptoms of blood clots: sudden vision changes, weakness or numbness, difficulty speaking or understanding speech, shortness of breath, and chronic dizziness or headache.

The Yaz Lawyers at VanDerGinst Law are on a national campaign to help birth control victims who have had serious side effects from either YAZ, Yasmin, or Ocella.  If you have been effected by any of these birth control pills, contact our law firm today.
